Gifts In-Kind
The foundation welcomes non-cash contributions of items that directly benefit patients, as long as the department accepting the items determines the contribution is appropriate.
Please contact the foundation to ask about making gifts in-kind. When accepting an in-kind contribution, the foundation will complete its section of IRS Form 8283, which is used by those who itemize on their income tax returns. This form allows the donor to claim tax deductions for non-cash charitable gifts. It is the donor's responsibility to indicate the value of the gift and to fill out various sections of the form, depending on that value.
